Pros and Cons List

A weighted decision-making tool. Add pros and cons with importance weights, see a scored recommendation, save multiple decisions, and export your analysis.

How It Works

Add arguments to the Pros and Cons columns. Each item has an importance weight from 1 (low) to 5 (critical). The tool sums the weights on each side and shows a visual comparison with a net recommendation.

Scoring

Pro Score = sum of all pro weights
Con Score = sum of all con weights
Net Score = Pro Score − Con Score

A positive net score favors the decision, a negative net score advises against it, and zero means the arguments are evenly balanced.

Multiple Decisions

Use the tabs above the list to create and switch between multiple decisions. Each decision is saved independently in your browser's localStorage — no account needed.

Export

Click Export to download your decision as a plain text file with all pros, cons, weights, and the final score summary.
